- Miss Gleena Virginia Adams
Miss Gleena Virginia Adams, age 87, of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. died Tuesday, Oct. 5, at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born and raised in Lake City and spent most of her life in Jacksonville, Fla. She was the daughter of the late Mack Leroy Adams and Fanny F. Harrington Adams. She was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church of Lake City, Fla. and was a caring and fun loving person who enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Gleena also leaves behind dear friends, Edna Cox, Bernice McCollum (Clyde) Harris, Linda McCollum (Calvin) Creamer, Billy McCollum and Gary (Susan) McCollum all of Lake City, Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, October 8, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Tina Trent, Pastor of Beaches Chapel Church of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., officiating.
Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery, Columbia County, Fla.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday (One hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Fla.
