He was a member of the Lulu Baptist Church. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, antique cars and watching wrestling matches on television. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Lynard Dicks and his parents, Spain and Doris Lee Dicks and a sister, Karyn Courson Campbell. He is survived by his daughter, Terry Sparkle (Mike) Eason of Lulu, Florida; two grandsons, Hayden Lonnie Bucchi and Jase Holden Bucchi; five siblings, Phyllis Amelia Dicks, Jerry Wayne (Shelia) Courson, Georgia Gail (David) Heruska, David (Dianna) Courson and Candy Courson Hendrix.
