- Graveside funeral services for Cecil Phillip Harvey, 71, were held Sunday afternoon in Oak Hill Cemetery with full military honors. The Rev. Adam Martinez officiated.
Rosary was recited Saturday evening in Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
Born Feb. 26, 1918, in Baldwin, Fla., Mr. Harvey had been a resident of Lampasas for the past 27 years. He was retired as a Sgt. First Class from the U.S. Army after having served for 22 years. He was employed by the Civil Service for 23 years, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Lampasas.
Survivors include his wife Irmgard Harvey of Lampasas; six daughters, Patricia Harvey of Denton, Karoline Harvey of Panama, Ingrid Jacobs of Edgewood, Md., Christine Smith of Lampasas; Elaine Walker of Glen St. Mary's, Fla., and Diane Westmoreland of McClenny, Fla.; a son, Michael Harvey of Bethesda, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Duckworth of Gainesville, Fla; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors had charge of all arrangements.
