	Rosa Jane Kemp, 74, of Palatka passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at her home following an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Rosa enjoyed crocheting and spending time on the river fishing. She had worked for Hudson Pulp and Paper Company in the 1960’s. Rosa loved her family and church. She was preceded in death by her husband Pat Kemp. She is survived by her daughters, Thersa Lowe (Ricky) and Nancy Ipock (George), sisters, Reece Shephard and Nettie Shephard, grandchildren, Eugene Lassiter (Tabby), Patrick Lassiter (Denessa) and Jessica Ward, great-grandchildren, Martha and Michael Wilkinson, Patrick, Kalie, Weston and Mattie Lassiter, Alex Boram and a step-grandson, Brandon Price. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Brother Ray Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin. The family will receive friends between 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of The Nature Coast, Putnam Team, 927 S Hwy19, Palatka, FL 32177. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
