- William “Bill” Michael Slifer, age 63, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. He was born January 24, 1953, in Amityville, New York, the son of William Barnes and Barbra Ann (Reh) Slifer. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Bill lived in Harrison, Arkansas, for many years with his family. There he worked in maintenance at Pace Industries for 17 years. In 2008, he and his family moved to the Branson area, where Bill enjoyed working for Wyndham resorts. He was an avid Cardinal’s fan, never missing a game. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth David Slifer, Sr.
Bill is survived by his son, Michael Robert Slifer and wife Kammie of Rockaway Beach, Missouri; three brothers, Douglas Slifer of Columbia, South Carolina, James Slifer of Harrison, Arkansas, and Randy Slifer of Rochester, New York; and Lisa Slifer-Heath.
