  	Nellie Green Coffee, 95, a resident of Lake City, Florida passed away Sunday June 13, 2010 at Baya Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center in Lake City. Mrs. Coffee was born September 5, 1914 to the late George W. and Arrie Bullard Green, in Columbia County, Fl. where she graduated from Columbia High School. Then employed by the Interstate Commerce Commission in Jacksonville, Fl. until she retired in 1974 back to Lake City. She is preceded in death by her husband Claude C. Coffee. She was a Christian who loved her family and family gatherings. She enjoyed the god given beauty of the outdoors, where she spent much of her spare time. Her special joy was working in, and sharing, her flower and vegetable garden. She was a former member of the Lake City Garden Club and the Lake City Newcomers Club which she enjoyed. Survivors include one brother: Calvin (Ruby) Green, Lake City, Fl. One sister: Violet Green Seay, Lake City, Fl. numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Thursday June 17, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Barney Hurst, officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 16, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW. Main Blvd. Lake City is in charge of arrangements.
