Mr. Altman was born in Baker County and had lived in Jacksonville for about 28 years. He was a member of the Grand Park Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sadie Altman; 4 daughters, Mrs. Mildred Mizell, Mrs. Bertha Clark, Mrs. Mamie Burns and Mrs. Louise Pickett; 2 sons, LeRoy Altman and Herbie Altman; 2 brothers, D.L. Altman and Leonard Altman; 3 sisters, Mrs. Lilly Nealson and Miss Sally Altman, all of Jacksonville and Mrs. Thannie Wester, Lake City. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Seashole Funeral Parlors.
