- Mrs. Sallie Lewis Jones Cason, 80, died Tuesday (May 24, 2005) at Satilla Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. She was the daughter of the late Emory Jones and Dora Lewis Daley Jones.
She was retired chief clerk with the Selective Service Board and was a member of Hebardville United Methodist Church.
The survivors include her husband, James F. Cason, Sr. of Waycross; a son, James F. Cason, Jr. of Waycross; and several cousins and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday (May 26, 2005) at Hebardville United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Wednesday night from 6 until 8 o'clock.
