He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Juanita W. Brooks; daughter, Annette Brooks-Warren, M.D. of Atlanta; sister, Mrs. Ruby Green of Elba, AL; and granddaughter, Deirdre A. Fortson of Atlanta.
Graveside services will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner and Sons, Decatur, GA.
