  	Mr Alan Robert Lorith, 65 of Cary News & Observer, The (Raleigh, NC) - Sunday, January 8, 2012 Cary NC United States Mr. Alan Robert Lorith, 65, died Monday morning, January 2, 2012, at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Lorith was born in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised and educated in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where as a child, he attended Beth Torah temple with his parents. He graduated in 1964 from McArthur High School, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, during Vietnam. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Mr. Lorith worked as a Surveyor, where he worked on both the Sawgrass Expressway and the Florida Turnpike. In 1988, he became the Owner/Operator of Old Fashioned Pest Control. He relocated to North Carolina in 2007. Mr. Lorith is survived by his children, Richard Lorith of Clayton, NC; Susan Lorith Blackwell of Raleigh, NC; and Cindy Lorith Patterson of Raleigh, NC. In addition to his children, Mr. Lorith is also survived by his first wife, Barbara Clark, and his second wife, Sandra Blackwell. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
