	Mary Elizabeth Or Beth Brewer, 81 Obituaries Fort Worth Star-Telegram (TX) - Thursday, January 29, 2004 BENBROOK -- Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Brewer, 81, a devoted wife and mother, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2004. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Twosome Class Scholarship Fund at First United Methodist Church. Beth was born April 22, 1922, in Saginaw. She grew up in Granbury and graduated from Granbury High School. She worked as a secretary in Fort Worth until 1943. She served as a Navy Wave from 1943 to 1946. She attended TSCW (now Texas Woman's University in Denton) and earned a B.S. degree in business. She worked for Smith Cotton Company and DeGolyer McNaughton in Dallas. Beth ministered to many people. She was a sincere, sweet, tender, loving and generous person. She never said an unkind thing about anyone. She loved sunshine, birds, reading, beautiful flowers, art, music, bridge, and "42" with The XYZ Group. She loved her family, relatives and friends. Survivors: Husband of 45 years, Ted Brewer; daughter, Elizabeth Golemon and her husband, Dale; brother, Tommy Gillen and his wife, Carol, of Grand Prairie; sister-in-law, Frances Summers of Granbury; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Micki.
