  	DR. EDWIN J. WELLS WILMINGTON -- Dr. Edwin J. Wells, 73, of 2205 Gillette Drive, formerly of Fayetteville, died Tuesday in New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Dr. Wells was a retired plastic surgeon, on the staff of James Walder Memorial Hospital and New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in St. James Episcopal Church. Arrangements are being handled by Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 810 Princess St., Wilmington, N.C. 28401, or to the Woodberry Forest Amici Fund, Woodberry Forest School, Woodberry Forest, Va. 22989.
