Lee Andrew Dixon, 77, died March 10, 2012, in Gainesville. He was born March 27, 1934, to Jay and Josie Dixon in Moultrie, Ga.
He had lived in the area since moving from California in 1972. He was of the Baptist faith. Before retirement he worked for V.E. Whitehurst and loved to fish in his spare time.
Survivors include sons, Robin Wayne (Katie) Dixon, Thomas Andrew (Patricia) Dixon; daughters, Patti Jo (Sam) Manley, Judi Lynn Spangler, Vicki Marie (Mark) Jeter, Donna Lea Dixon, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a memorial service in his honor at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Knauff Funeral Home in Williston.
