Mr. Hayward Aaron Jr. died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998, in Aiken County.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Jackson, with the Rev. Ruben Walker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Aaron, a native of Aiken County, was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict and had retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center as an outpatient technician. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Hayward Aaron III and Glenn Aaron, both of Augusta; three daughters, Hazel Walker, Madison, Ga., Patricia Harris, Stone Mountain, Ga., and Carolyn Curtis, Augusta; three brothers, James Aaron and Franklin Aaron, both of Augusta, and Warren Aaron, Jackson; three sisters, Staretha Larke, Jackson, Florence Maris, Augusta, and Janet Cofer, North Augusta; and 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Lark, Johnny Lark, Marion Stallings, Danny Avery, Warren Aaron, Frank Aaron, Sam Roundtree and Harold Aaron.
Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
