  	James 'Jamie' Cress Willeford III DURHAM - James "Jamie" Cress Willeford III, 53, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He was born October 10, 1958, in Cabarrus County, NC to Mr. and Mrs. James Cress Willeford Jr. As a therapist he dedicated his life to helping others, especially children. Jamie loved to read and write, and had a passion for photography and the outdoors. He was kind, compassionate, and a loving father. Jamie is Survived by three sons; two sisters; two nieces, two nephews; and a grandson. Dedicated to helping others he was a therapist at the Durham Counseling Center where he gave special attention to children. Jamie enjoyed many aspects of life: reading writing, music, photography and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Carol McCrae, three sons: Linder Willeford and wife Sarah and grandson Ian; Evan Willeford and Tanner Willeford all of Durham. Two sisters, Berta Cresslyn Willeford Trexler and brother in Law Lee Trexler, and Mary W. Morris.
