- Willie Marshall Wilson, age 72, of Flagler Beach, FL (formally of Newnan, GA), loving husband, father, and grandfather, was called home to the Lord on February 20, 2008 at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial, Ormond Beach, FL.
He left behind a loving wife of 15 years, Linna Lee Wilson of Flagler Beach, FL, a sister, Bettie Joyce Wilson West and husband Tom of Peachtree City, GA, sons Bradley Marshall Wilson and wife Joyce of Jonesboro, GA and Walter Layton Wilkerson U and wife Sheri of Tupelo, MS, a daughter, Lee Ann (Wilkerson) Proud and husband Don of St Johns, FL, grandsons Brian Wilson, Greg Wilson and Tyler Proud, granddaughters Kenesha Wilkerson, Jaime Wilkerson and Ashlee Proud.
Marshall was born September 17, 1935 in Newnan, GA.
He was predeceased by his parents Willie Elonza Wilson and Annie Clyde (Roberts) Wilson.
The family will celebrate his life at a Memorial service on Saturday, March 1st at 11:00 am. at the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church in Flagler Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church (www.gbgm-umc.org/fbumc.fl) and/or the American Heart Association.
