- Mrs. Miriam Nettles 86, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her residence. She was born on August 20, 1928 in Abbeville, Georgia to the late Monroe Taylor and Tilda Mae Gibbs Taylor. She was a member of the The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lake Butler Ward. Mrs. Nettles loved to spend her free time outdoors.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Ellis Nettles; one son Victor Nettles; one daughter Sandra Nettles; three brothers, Buddy, AD, and Terrell Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters: Elaine Nettles, Paulette Carlson (Randy), and Marsha Gonzalez; Son: Tommy Nettles (Becky); Sisters: Frances Mitchell (James), Johnnie Atkinson (Leonard), and Mary Winnie Taylor. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nettles will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lake Butler Ward with Bishop Paul Waters officiating. Burial will take place following funeral services at Oak Grove Cemetery. Family invites friends for a visitation an hour prior to the funeral service. The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler.
