Athens - Mr. Harry Canada Greer, age 25 of 1140 Boulevard, Athens died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 in Athens. He was a native of Houston, Texas, living in Saudi Arabia for eight years and moving to Montgomery County fifteen years ago. He was a college student in Athens, attended Vidalia High School where he was active in numerous plays and with the Franklina Playhouse.
Harry is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kathleen and Glynn Landrum of Ailey, his father, Harry Lamar of Trinity, Texas, one sister, Shannon Greer of Portland, Oregon, one brother, Joseph Greer of London, England, his maternal grandfather, Mose Coleman, Jr. of Vidalia, his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Angerer of Hudson, Florida and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, March 3rd at 11:00 AM in the Lyons City Cemetery with the Reverend David Blalock officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 to 9.
Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
