- Houston - Services for Linda Sue Scruggs, 73, who died May 13, 2003, were held 10 am May 15, 2003, at Houston Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Roberson and Bennett Blanton officiating.
Interment followed at Houston Cemetery.
Ms. Scruggs was a retired dietician and a member of the Baptist Church in Moody, Ala.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Natalie Berry of Houston; two nieces and one nephew, and a dear friend, Sybil Rowe of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wiley Scruggs, Jr.
Pallbearers were Gregg Pepper, Tommy Berry, Lee Leitner, Ricky Rowe, Bobby Gilbert and Brian Pepper.
