Deceased Name: Margie L. Courson
ALMA -- Margie Lee Courson, 75, died March 4, at Bacon County Hospital.
The Chatham County native had lived in Bacon County most of her life, was a member of Alma Methodist Church and taught school in Bacon County for over 40 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was the widow of Glenn Courson.
SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Regina Courson of Alma; a stepdaughter, Glenda Mantz of Alma; three grandsons, Scott Courson, Ansley Courson and wife Carrie, and Willis Courson, all of Alma; a stepgranddaughter, Amy Prosser of South Carolina; and two step-great-granddaughters, Audrey Richards and Sunshyne Richards.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at Crosby Funeral Home, burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
