Clarice Howell Sigmon, 85, 212 E. Jennings St., died Oct. 18, 2001, at Brian Center.
She was a native of Dillon, S.C., daughter of the late Newton and Miriam Wilkes Howell, wife of the late Carl A. Sigmon, self-employed in clothing sales, member of First Baptist Church, Eastern Star, DAV Auxiliary, Pilot Club, VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
SURVIVORS: Son, William Hicks, Denver; daughter, Betty Hicks Potts, Lincolnton; sister, Beatrice H. McCutcheon, Lincolnton; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Brothers, J.B. and Edsel Howell
