She was 77. Mrs. Hatch was born in Jacksonville and moved to Branford in 1949. She was co-founder of the Branford Western Auto Store, Hatch Enterprises, Inc. and Branford Sales, Inc. She was also a real estate agent with Branford Realty for a number of years. "Miss Kitty", as she was affectionately known, was active in community affairs for much of her life. She served as president of the Branford PTA, taught Sunday school at the First Baptist Church of Branford, and volunteered for countless local projects. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Arthur Rudolph Hatch, daughters Sandra (Kenneth) Anusavice of Gainesville. Sharon Mitchell of Marianna; sons, Randy (Glenda) Hatch of Branford and Joel (Julie) Hatch of Valencia, CA. She also leaves a brother, Young (Linda) McQueen of Fruit Cove along with 11 grandchildren, Jill and Joel Anusavice of Gainesville, Ryan Hatch of Lake City, Jay Hatch of Gainesville, Heather Hatch of New York City, Dr. Chrissy Mitchell of Gainesville, Jeff Mitchell of West Palm Beach, Joel Benjamin Hatch, Cheyenne Hatch, Dakota Hatch and Jonathan Stein of Valencia, CA. She was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Amber Hatch of Branford and Rory Hatch of Lake City. Daniels Funeral Homes, Inc. of Branford was in charge of all arrangements.
