- Robbie Sue [Cason] Burris age 83, passed away on 7/23/22. She was born in Columbia County Florida on 5/19/39 to the late Talmadge D. Cason and Jimmie L. Cason.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Charles Marvin Burris; daughter Suzanne [Susie] Burris-Dryer; Daughter-in-law Teji Rakhra-Burris; Her grandchildren Ashton Artman and Adair Bosserman; her great grandchildren, Zane Bosserman and Adalyn Bosserman; and her sister Abbie Mann. She is predeceased by her son Charles [Chip] Burris; and Brothers, P.D. Cason, Grayson L. Cason Sr., Donald Cason, and Franklin Delano Cason.
Robbie graduated from Columbia High School in 1958, going on to attend Tift College. She was a skilled typist and worked in a lawyer's office while Marvin was in college. She was an active member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church since 1970 where she held several offices and was very active in the church. In addition to her dedication to the church, her family was her main priority. She took pride in raising her two children, and especially enjoyed being there for her grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed boat rides on the river, hiking, and teaching her grandkids how to cook. Additionally she dedicated her time to taking care of her parents and her husband's parents in their later years.
Private graveside services were conducted at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Florida United Methodist church Madison Youth Ranch 1647 NE Captain Buie Road, Pinetta Florida, 32350.
