  	Marian Carlisle "Betty" Wilkes, 94, of Easley, widow of the late Robert W. Wilkes, Sr., passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. Born November 3, 1922 in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. Carlisle, Sr. and the late Gertrude Stack Carlisle. She was retired from the Lowenstein Company, Lyman. Mrs. Wilkes was a member of Florence Moore Memorial Presbyterian in Wellford. Surviving are her son Robert W. "Billy" Wilkes, Jr. of Anderson, grandchildren, Ginna Lister (Chad) and Myles Wilkes (Lizzy), great grandchildren, Rett and Cameron Lister and Ellie and Bo Wilkes and brothers, Kenneth Carlisle and Rev. Bob Carlisle. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 30 at Wood Memorial Park, Duncan officiated by Dr. Christie Gravely.
