- James Revis Caison, 72, died Friday, November 7, 2003, at Southeast Regional Medical Center in Brunswick, Georgia. The Long County native had lived in Jacksonville for many years, moving to Glennville several years ago. He was retired from Rex Packing Company in Jacksonville after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Over the Hill R. V. Camping Club and the Claxton Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes I. Caison of Glennville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Virginia Williams of Bunnell, Florida, and Judy and David Wright of Jacksonville; two brothers, Hiliary Caison of Warner Robbins and Gene Caison of Ludowici; two grandsons, Christopher Wright of Iraq and Matthew Wright of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 10, at Carter Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Garland Woolard officiating. Burial was Tuesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.
Pallbearers were Guy Caison, Danny Watson, Larry Flowers, Pat Easterling, Mike Lamb, Wayne Easterling, Michael Lamb, and David Easterling.
Carter Funeral Chapel of Glennville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
