- Dawn Wilkerson Boling, 62, of Sunset Harbor, passed peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013. Mrs. Boling was the daughter of the late Rupert and Margaret Wilkerson. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Rupert Alva Wilkerson Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Philip V. Boling; her daughter, Rachel Boling; two sisters, Tina Kinlaw and Lynn Noble.
Dawn was a member of Generations Church in Southport. Loving wife, mother, and friend, Dawn will be greatly missed and always lovingly remembered.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Generations Church. The family received friends prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SECU Hospice House, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422.
