Charles R. Wilks, 88, of Hattiesburg, died July 29, 2010 at his home. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg followed by burial in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Wilks was the owner of Southern Insurance Company. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and Woodman of the World.
He is survived by a son, Andy Wilks of Hattiesburg and two grandsons, Scott Wilks of Ellisville and Heath Wilks of Columbia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Wilks; a son, Raynor Wilks; and two sisters, Lurene Duncan and Aliene Weeks.
Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
