- Mamie Ruth Jorgensen
Mrs. Mamie Ruth Jorgensen, age 57, of Lake City, Fla. died Monday, Jan. 10, in the Shands Teaching Hospital, Gainesville, Fla. following a brief illness.
Mrs. Jorgensen was a native of Donaldsonville, Ga. and had resided in Denver, Co. before moving to Lake City, Fla. three years ago. She was a homemaker and daughter of the late James R. and Nettie Juanita Johnson Wilks and the widow of the late Lawrence E. Jorgensen.
Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Bradley of Wheat Ridge, Co. two sons, Gary Pinkham of Denver, Co. and Jimmy Page of Lake City, Fla., one sister, Shirley Giliani of Ocala, Fla., four brothers, James E. Wilks, Dewey Ray Wilks and Mickey Lee Wilks all of Lake City, Fla., and Donald Wilks of Ocala, Fla., numerous grandchildren also survive.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan 22 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Kirkman, Pastor of the Wellcome Congregational Holliness Church, officiating.
Guerry Funeral Home, 4309 S. First Street, Lake City, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
