Joyce Cason Norman 80, a life long resident of Raiford passed away peacefully at her home surrounded. by her family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Cason and Alice Dowling Cason. She was a school teacher with the Union County School Board for 43 years. She was selected Teacher of the year in 1979 and 1986.She was a member of Delta Kappaes Gamma; Chapter 40 of Eastern Star Lake Butler; and Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving Husband Joseph H. Norman; Sister: Blanch Johnson; and Brothers: Raymond Bryan and Joseph Bryan. She was also an original member of the Raiford Town Council. She is survived by 1 Daughter: Jan Norman Thomas of Raiford. 2 Sons: Joey Norman of Raiford and Jimmy Norman of Gainesville. 2 Brothers: Jack Cason of Lake Butler and Robert Lee Cason of Raiford. 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Baptist Church at Raiford with Rev. Harold Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Sapp Cemetery under the care of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M.
