    Jonathan Parker born in Northampton Co., North Carolina but moved to Duplin Co. where he bought 400 acres on western side of Six Runs, adjoining land of Matthew Powell on July 22, 1774. "His will names a grandson name of Nicholas." Information on this family comes from the North Carolina Genealogical Library vertical file.
