Jesup--Geneva Dennison Cason, 73, of Jesup died Feb. 20, 2006, after a short illness.

The Pierce County native had lived in Wayne County most of her life and was a member of Ritch Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was the widow of the Rev. Frank S. Cason.

Survivors are one daughter, Carolyn Cason of Jesup; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Kimberly Cason of Jesup, and Travis and Cathy Cason of Hazlehurst; five brothers, Troy Dennison Jr., Clinton Dennison, Clayton Dennison, Rudolph Dennison, Joseph Armond Dennison, all of Patterson; one sister, Eldys Dixon of Blackshea; eight grandchildren, Michelle Hawkins, Kevin Wolfe, April Thompson, Hadley Cason, Joshua Cason, Tammy Cason, Paul Cason and Tyler Cason; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 23 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Lee, the Rev. Charles Manning and the Rev. Wayne Manning officiating.

Interment will be in Ritch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Hadley Cason, Josh Cason, Kevin Wolfe, Paul Cason, Tyler Cason, Joe Hawkins Jr. and Joe Hawkins Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Ladies Sunday School Class of Ritch Baptist Church and Jesup Fellowship Baptist.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) from the funeral home. Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
