RUBY - Funeral Service for Mrs. Mildred Ratliff Wilks, age 78, 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at White Oak Presbyterian Church, Ruby, SC with interment in the Church Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday May 29, 2007 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC.
Mrs. Wilks died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at her home.
Mrs. Wilks was born June 19, 1928 in Ruby, SC, a daughter of the late Dennis Grady and Mary Rebecca Allen Ratliff. She was a homemaker. Mildred was a member of White Oak Presbyterian Church and also attended Clanton Plains Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Allen.
Survivors are husband, Dewey L. Wilks of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald W. and Allison Wilks, of Columbia, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca W. and John Patterson, of Columbia, SC; two brothers, John Ratliff of Hawaii and Roy Ratliff of McColl, SC; one sister, Ruby Poole of Virginia; also several beloved nieces and nephews.
