87, of 1367 Calvary Church Road, died July 21, 1996 at her residence.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Dale Roddey and Reverend Robert Craven officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Visitation is 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Barron Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilkes is a native of Great Falls, SC, her parents are the late William Sylvester and Eunice Dye Keistler. Mrs. Wilkes was a retired school teacher. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and Winthrop College. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. She assisted in the organization of the Head Start Program in Chester County.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Wilkes; sisters, Mrs. Helen Coleman of Blair, SC, Mrs. Louise McCormick of Columbia, SC and Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson of Lancaster, SC.
