Elise Guy Prescott passed away on Aug. 27, 2017, at the age of 85.
Elise was born in Waycross, Ga. She and her late husband Edd Prescott lived in Jesup, Folkston and St. Simons for the 49 years of their marriage.
She was an avid plant lover and had her own nursery and plant rental business for many years.
She is survived by her children, Patti Prescott Causey (Rick) of Rome, Ga., Mark Prescott (Kim) of Peachtree City, Ga., and Shelly (Gary) Prescott of Athens, Ga.; her grandchildren, Rusty Causey (Amanda) of St. Johns, Fla., Katie Prescott Price of Mineral Bluff, Ga., Jon Prescott (Amanda) of Atlanta, Ga., Ryan Prescott of Peachtree City, Ga., and Madeline Prescott of Athens, Ga.; and great-granddaughter, Audrey Jane Price of Mineral Bluff, Ga.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, Sept. 4 at Corinth Cemetery in Folkston, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a Hospice of your choice, The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, or Corinth Cemetery in Folkston.
