Mrs. Dianne Elaine Casavant, 66, died Friday morning (May 31, 2013) at her son's residence in Blackshear after an extended illness.

She was a native of Norwich, CT, but she has lived in Waycross since 1988. She was a homemaker and member of Hebardville United Methodist Church. She is the daughter of the late Lewis Hust and Marguerite Wildes Hust.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lucien L. Casavant, Sr.

Survivors include three sons, William Joseph Casavant (wife Sharon) of Waycross, James Lewis Casavant (wife Jessica) of Blackshear, and Tony Wayne Casavant of Blackshear; four grandchildren, Samantha Casavant Sweat, Morgan Casavant, Annelise Casavant, and Zachary Casavant; one sister, Charlotte Young (husband John Sr.) of Hilliard, FL; one nephew, J. R. Young, Jr.; and one niece, Jeanette Watts.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday (June 4, 2013) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Hephzibah Cemetery in Dixie Union.

The family will receive friends 1 until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
