Glenn Allen Davis, 69, of Callahan FL went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2016.

Glenn was born on October 10, 1946 to Donnie and Emma Davis. He worked for Smurfit-Stone Corporation for 37 years. He was a member of Buford Grove Baptist Church, attended Center Baptist Church in Robertstown GA, and was a Unicoi Springs Camp Resort member for 8 years. He loved spending time with his family and always looked forward to the annual Labor Day Weekend Davis’ family reunion.

He is survived by his loving wife: Donna Rowe Davis, daughters: Paula (Joe) Davis Carter and Glenda (Dave) Davis Hewett, son-in-law: Danny Carter, sisters: Madeline Davis Stone and Hilda Davis Martin, brothers: Harold (Ann) Davis and Kerry (Cecile) Davis, 6 grandchildren: Amber, Amanda, Clint, Clay, Rebecca, and Alanna Jo, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Stephanie Davis Carter, grandson: Keith Michael Hewett, and 11 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 6-8:00 PM in the Nassau Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Friday July 8, 2016 at Buford Grove Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 AM with Curtis Harrington officiating, interment will follow in River Road Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Paul Wagner, Charles Peterman, Charles Geiger, Carl Davis, Tommy Pyke, and Clint Dodson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Raysor, William Heinrich, JC Conner, and Richard Cole.
