Deceased Name: Floyd S. Cason
Floyd S. Cason, 69, died Thursday (June 28, 2007) at his residence.
A native of Pierce County, he retired from Ivy Steel in Tampa, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Williams Cason, of Springfield; his children, Darlene Pirtle (Doug), of Powder Springs, and Floyd Stacy Cason (Michele), of Dallas; his sisters, Glenda Cason Lane (Hubert), of Hortense, and Euna Cason Hickox (J.D.), of Patterson; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel.
A funeral will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1930 Springfield-Egypt Road, Springfield, Ga. 31329.
