    Mrs. Alicia Blue Caison, 80 of 225 Chapman Royal Dr. died at her home Saturday January 7, 2012.

    Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Hilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.

    Born in 1931 in Moore County, Mrs. Caison was the daughter of the late Calvin Benton and Pearl Evans Blue. Blue attended East Carolina University receiving a Masters Degree in Education. She began her teaching career in Cameron NC and retired after thirty-two years from Clinton High School as a Guidance Counselor. Blue enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and time spent with friends and family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

    She is survived by two daughters, Robin Bradshaw and husband, Glenn of Clinton and Bettie Blue Lewis and husband, Eric of Hope Mills. Two sisters, Martha Pierce of Kernersville, Janet Lilley & husband, Shelton of Monroe. Four grandchildren, Ryan Bradshaw (Karen), Jennifer Williams (Warren) Sawyer Lewis & Ethan Lewis. Three great- grandchildren, Jena-Grace Williams, Ava & Bella Bradshaw.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Anderson Caison, three sisters, Sylvia Foy, Anna Matthews & Buna McLeod. Three brothers, Willard Blue, Calvin Blue & William Blue.

    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at her home.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to SEPT of Blue, 2852 Farmlife School Rd., Carthage, NC 28327 or to the State Employees Credit Union Foundation, P. O. Box 25966 Raleigh, NC 27611-5966.
