    DUBLIN--William Arthur Christopher, 71, a retired master sargeant who served in the Army and Air Force, died Tuesday in DeLeon.

    Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Greenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Christopher was born in Cincinnati. He served in the Army first and then in the Air Force from 1940 until his retirement in 1961. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Christopher was a member of First Baptist Church in Dublin. His wife, Anna Christopher, died in 1976. The family suggests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church in Dublin.

    Survivors: Sons, Dale C. Christopher of Glen Rose and David A. Christopher of Keller; daughter Linda D. Christopher of Fort Worth; and one granddaughter, Lacey Christopher.

    Anna Ola Shaw Christopher, 44, died August 21, 1976 in Fort Worth, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer.

    Memorial Services 2:00 pm Tuesday August 24, 1976 in the Greenwood Chapel with Rev. W. A. "Bill" Schibler and Rev. John Reynolds officiating. Burial in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth, TX.

    She was born Oct. 27, 1931 in Jordan Springs, Brown County, Texas to Samuel Bryant Shaw and Cressie Mae Berry Shaw. She was a 1949 graduate of Carlton High School (Hamilton County, Tx) and then attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX. On May 11, 1952 she married William Arthur Christopher in Carlton, Texas. They lived in numerous locations, including Japan. She was a devote Baptist.

    Survivors include her husband, Wm. "Chris" Christopher; sons, Dale & David; daughter, Linda; mother, Cressie Shaw; brothers, Robert & Seth Shaw; sisters, Lois Bien, Nina Menting & Mamie Wisely; cousins, Aleene Patterson, Maebell Dansby & Earleene Fitzgerald; many nieces and nephews and numerous other family members and friends.

    DUBLIN, Texas - Cressie Mae Berry Shaw, 100, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at a Dublin, Texas, nursing home. She was born August 28, 1898 in Jordan Springs, Brown County, Texas to Charles Pinkney Berry and Emma S. Pulatie Berry.

    Mrs. S.B. Shaw as she was known, was a retired rancher, loved gardening, tending her flowers and fishing. She was a devote Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin.

    Her husband of 20 years, Samuel Bryant Shaw died in 1944. Two daughters, Anna Ola Shaw Christopher (1976) and Nina Lee Shaw Menting (1992); and a grandson, Garland Ray Bien (1990) also preceed her in death.

    Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, Texas.

    Burial: Bangs Cemetery in Bangs, Texas. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday.

    Memorials: First Baptist Church of Dublin.

    Survivors: Sons, Robert B. Shaw and Seth A. Shaw; daughters, Lois Bien and Mamie Wisely; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters and numerous other family members.
