CRAWFORDVILLE -- Gerald Matthew Dicks, 72, a transport operator, died Monday, March 4, 2002.
A native of Dunnellon, he moved to Crawfordville from Taft in 1986. Mr. Dicks was a member of First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Dicks, Crawfordville; sons, Timothy J. Dicks, St. Cloud, Gerald W. Dicks, Gregory M. Dicks and Michael D. Dicks, all of Crawfordville; sisters, Wilma Fowler, Plant City, Inez King, Haines City and Marybob Loveridge, Carmichael, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
