    CLINTON - J.P. Caison, 84, of 605 Park Ave., died Monday, June 7, 2004, in his home.

    Mr. Caison was an Army veteran of World War II. He owned Sampson Auto Clinic and was a former Roseboro town commissioner. Mr. Caison was a former deacon at Roseboro First Baptist Church.

    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro by the Rev. Frank Turner. Burial will be in Roseboro Cemetery.

    Mr. Caison is survived by his wife, Hildred C. Caison of the home; two daughters, Susan Sharp of Beaufort, S.C., and Bobbie Gore of Cary; a son, Deems Caison of Clinton; a sister, Marie O'Toole of Convent Station, N.J.; two brothers, James Caison of Newport and Earl Caison of Clinton; three grandchildren; a stepgrandson; and two great-grandsons.

    The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

    CLINTON -- Mr. J.P. Caison, 84, of 605 Park Ave. died Monday at his home.

    Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Roseboro Cemetery.

    Mr. Caison was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Burris Deems and Fitzhugh Lee Bedsole Caison. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the owner of the Sampson Auto Clinic, and a former Roseboro Town Commissioner. He was a member and a former deacon of the Roseboro First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by son, Michael Caison, sister, Katherine Barradaile, two brothers, Deems Caison and Frederick Caison.

    Mr. Caison is survived by wife, Hildred C. Caison of the home; two daughters, Susan Sharp and husband, Dr. David Sharp of Beaufort, SC and Bobbie Gore and husband, Jimmy Gore, of Cary; son, Deems Caison and wife, Nancy Caison of Clinton; sister, Marie O'Toole of Covent Station, New Jersey; two brothers, James Caison of Newport and Earl Caison of Clinton; two granddaughters, Mary Sharp of Beaufort, SC and Kathy Sharp of Camden, SC; one grandson, Jacob Gore of Cary; step grandson, Warren Gore of Cary; two great grandsons, Spencer Hann and Jacob Hann, both of Camden, SC.

    The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 til 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

    CLINTON -- Michael P. Caison, 48, of 607 Park Ave. died Monday in Sampson County Memorial Hospital.

    He was a nurse for the southwood division at Mary Gran Nursing Home.

    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro by the Rev. Ashley Summerlin. Burial will be in Roseboro Cemetery.

    Mr. Caison is survived by his wife, Cindy S. Caison of the home; two stepsons, Matthew Moye of the home and Chad Moye of Mount Olive; his parents, J.P. and Hildred Caison of Clinton; two sisters, Susan Sharp of Aiken, S.C., and Bobbie Gore of Clinton; and a brother, Deems Caison of Clinton.

    The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home and other times at the home.
