BLACKSHEAR -- Raymond Monroe Cason, 73, died Feb. 19 at Satilla Regional Medical Center.
The Pierce County native was a retired farmer and member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. He was a resident of Satilla Care Nursing Home for several years.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Cason; a son-in-law, Wylley Douberly; and a brother, Cecil Davis Cason.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Betty Ray Lee Cason of Blackshear; three daughters, Betty Ann Tucker and Shirley Rachel Douberly, both of Blackshear, and Gloria Jean Lovell of Sylvester; a son, Raymond Dewitt Cason of Blackshear; three sisters, Dorothy Mae Sweat and Mildred Bennett, both of Waycross, and Dona Sweat of Brunswick; two brothers, Quitman Marlyn Cason of Blackshear and Jerry Lemuel Cason of Nashville, Ga.; four grandchildren and several other relatives.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Monday at Rehobeth Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.
