George Bennie Plummer -AMERICUS - Mr. George Bennie Plummer died Friday, January 12, 2007 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.
His funeral service will be 1P.M. Monday at Kimbrell-Stern with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Mike McAfee will officiate. The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M.
Mr. Plummer lived in Macon for seven years and was a member and taught Sunday School at Vineville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Grayce Henderson Plummer.
He is survived by two daughters, Cindi Weatherly and her husband Neal, Jr., Watkinsville, GA, Linda P. Mansfield and her husband Tommy, Hendersonville, TN; two sons, Phillip Plummer and his wife Emily, Albany, Gene Plummer and his wife Patricia, Macon; a brother, Robert E. Plummer and his wife Jean, Anniston, AL; a sister, Barbara Ann Padget and her husband M.C., Gainesville, FL; 17 grandchildren 31 great grandchildren.
