David Wilson Gillen, 84, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel.
Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet.
David was born Oct. 3, 1931, in Fort Worth to Eupha and Cecil Gillen. David was a resident of Azle, Texas at the time of his passing. He served in the United States Navy, was a proud Mason and worked for the Texas Electric Company until his retirement.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Seybil Gillen; parents; and siblings, Edmund, Ralph and Lila Ruth.
Survivors: Daughters, Becky Gillen McGill, Tauna Reese, Elizabeth Jenkins; grandchildren, David Arms, Ashley Arms, Amber Forsythe; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Will, Ember, Lenzy, Knisley and David.
