Charles Crawford Caison Sr, of Archdale, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012. He was 79 years young. Charles was known by all who knew him as a generous, kind, extremely intelligent, easy going, man with a wonderful sense of humor who loved to laugh. He was known to be a good and loving father, and loved and cherished very much by his children and all of his family. He was loved very much by all who knew him and will genuinely be missed by friends and family.

Born on February 26, 1933 in Brunswick County, Charles' ambitious life was full of accomplishments. He started his journey with a career in the U.S. Navy, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from High Point College. He later earned his MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business, and he spent most of his working career in Business Information Systems. He later began an entirely new career as an attorney after earning his Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughters Elaine Caison of Archdale and Cheri Caison McCullough and her husband Vince of Lexington, NC; sons, Charles Crawford Caison, Jr of San Francisco, CA, David Caison of Camden, NC and four grandchildren: Charles, Samantha, Chase, and Connall.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10am in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale. Family will receive friends immediately after the service.
