    DUBLIN, Texas - Robert B. Shaw, 77, a retired rancher, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002 in Stephenville.

    Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial: Dublin Liveoak Cemetery with military honors. Visitation: Family will receive guests Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

    Memorials: First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas.

    He was a veteran of World War II.

    Deceased Name: Nina L. Menting

    RICHLAND HILLS - Nina L. Menting, a homemaker, died Thursday after a traffic accident in Colleyville. She was 63.

    Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Richland Hills Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

    Mount Olivet Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Menting was born in Brownwood and lived in Richland Hills for 28 years. She was the widow of Raymond J. Menting, who died in 1990.

    Survivors: Two sons, Barry Menting and Mark Menting, both of North Richland Hills; daughter, Lisa Menting of North Richland Hills; mother, Cressie Shaw of Dublin; two brothers, Robert Shaw of Dublin and Seth Shaw of Fort Worth; two sisters, Lois Bien of White Settlement and Mamie Wisely of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.

She was a 1949 graduate of Carlton High School (Hamilton County, Tx) and then attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX. On May 11, 1952 she married William Arthur Christopher in Carlton, Texas. They lived in numerous locations, including Japan. She was a devote Baptist.

    Survivors include her husband, Wm. "Chris" Christopher; sons, Dale & David; daughter, Linda; mother, Cressie Shaw; brothers, Robert & Seth Shaw; sisters, Lois Bien, Nina Menting & Mamie Wisely; cousins, Aleene Patterson, Maebell Dansby & Earleene Fitzgerald; many nieces and nephews and numerous other family members and friends.

    Mamie Ray Shaw Wisely, 86, died Friday, November 15, 2019, at her home surrounded by family.

    Mamie was born August 21, 1933, near Indian Creek, Texas to Samuel Bryant Shaw and Cressie Mae Berry Shaw. She was a 1950 graduate of Carlton High School. Mamie met Preston Fuller Wisely when they both worked for Lockheed Martin and were bowling in a company bowling league. They married on November 23, 1957. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.

    Mamie had a great sense of adventure, loved traveling, bowling, reading, listening to country music, watching her favorite golfer, Phil Mickelson and cheering on the Texas Rangers. Family and serving others is what made her happy. She entertained and served so many people by opening her home, volunteering and treating so many others as family.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Wisely; brother, Robert Shaw and sisters, Nina Menting and Anna Christopher.

    Survivors: Daughter, Melissa Wisely; son, Jim Wisely (Brenda); grandchildren, Landon Wisely and Kristen Ortega (CJ); sister, Lois Bien; brother, Seth Shaw (Luella); sister-in-law, Betty Shaw; cousin, Earleene Fitzgerald and many nieces, nephews and friends.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials: First Baptist Church 5712 W. FM 219 Carlton, TX 76436.

    Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 19th - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
    Funeral Service: Wednesday, Nov. 20th - 3:00 pm

    Pallbearers: Landon Wisely, Tanner Shaw, Tyler Tackett, Sean Wall, Kody Thiebaud, Jeff Shaw, Kyle Jurney and Eddie Menting.
