    Funeral Services for Emmit Bratton Holland, age 92 of Lafayette, TN were conducted at the Chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Meador and Eld. Ricky Day officiating.

    Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Arthur Patterson, Dortch West, James Lee Holland, Dewayne Marsh, Dalton Manion, Austin Manion, Hayden Manion, Isaiah Blackwell, and Brock Dyer were Honorary Pallbearers. Ritchie Manion, Kevin Manion, Todd Burgess, Jeff Blackwell, Dr. Michael West , Bill Flippin, Bill Dyer, and Hank Brawner served as active pallbearers.

    Emmit Holland passed away Tuesday morning, June 26, 2007 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.

    He was born August 27th, 1914 in Macon County, TN, to the late Cager and Nola Glover Holland. He was married to the former Olive Cothron for sixty-plus years, which preceded him in death on January 21, 1998. Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Patterson, sisters, Clara Smalling, Bertha Hayes, Ann Whitworth, Lela Gammons, and Pearl Cook, brothers: William Holland, Jessie Holland, Lector Holland, Sam Holland, Grover Holland, and Mitchell Holland. He was a farmer and was loved by all who knew him.Survivors include: son: Gary Holland, daughters: Wilma Manion and Deborah (James) Celsor of Lafayette, sisters, Christine Flippin of Lafayette, Lavena Schmidt of Florida, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra G. Holland Patterson, age 49, of 275 Patterson Road, Fountain Run, KY, were conducted Thursday, May 25, 1995, 3:00 p.m. at the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home by Eld. Melvin Stinson. Pallbearers were Ricky Roark, Jerry Burgess, Ritchie Manion, and Dr. Michael West. Interment was in the Akersville Cemetery, Fountain Run, KY.
    Sandy passed away Tuesday morning, May 23, 1995, at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
    She was born November 9, 1945 in Macon County, TN, the daughter of Emmit and Olive Cothron Holland of Lafayette, TN. On April 24, 1965, she was married to Arthur Patterson, who survives.
    She owned and operated the Fountain Run Beauty Salon and was a member of Oak Grove General Baptist Church, Scottsville, KY.
    In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Todd (Kerrie) Burgess, Gamaliel, KY and Miss Christy Patterson, Fountain Run, KY; two sisters, Ms. Wilma Manion and Mrs. James (Deborah) Celsor, both of Lafayette; one brother, Gary Holland, Lafayette; and two granddaughters, Terin Burgess and Gabrielle Burgess, Gamaliel, KY.
    Arrangements by Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Lafayette.
