George Braxton Winstead, Jr.
GARNER -- George Braxton Winstead Jr., 57, of Garner, died peacefully Saturday, September 3, 2005 after a period of declining health. He is the son of the late Lina Mae and George B. Winstead.
His sister, Georgia W. Broadus and her husband, Jim of Raleigh; his brother, Jack R. Winstead and his wife, Jean of Apex survive Braxton. Nieces, Jennifer Winstead and Dara Winstead of Apex; and great-niece, Skylee.
A memorial service will be held at Brown Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 300 St. Mary's Street, Raleigh, on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. The Rev. Karl Leonard will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
