    Claude Jefferson "Jeff" McLaughlin, 59, of 116 Peachtree Street, Red Springs, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

    Mr. McLaughlin was born in Robeson County to the late Claude J. and Hazel Wilkes McLaughlin. He lived in Red Springs all his life.

    Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6 in Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel in Red Springs with the Reverend David McGougan officiating. Scott Spangler provided music. Burial was in Alloway Cemetery.

    Survivors are one son, Jeffrey Griffin of Lumberton; his long-time companion, Nancy McCormick of Red Springs; and many other relatives and friends.

    Crumpler Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Red Springs served the family.
