  	Waycross Journal Herald (GA) - Wednesday, December 9, 2015 Mary Emma Wildes Mixon, 90, died Monday evening (Dec. 7, 2015) at Baptist Village Retirement Communities after an extended illness. She was a native of Blackshear who lived most of her life in Waycross. She was formerly employed for many years by the cigar factory. As a beautician, she owned and operated Mary's House of Beauty. She was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Martha Clark Wildes, her husband, Cecil Edward Mixon Sr., one daughter, Terry Kirkland, and one son, Cecil Edward Mixon Jr. Survivors include one son, Greg Mixon, of Waycross, eight grandchildren, numerous great-grand-children, nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
